From my hotel room, I could see the kandariya mahadeva temple of the westerm group . the sandhya arti(evening prayers)and uoga at the pool lawns transported me to a divine world away from the hustle bustle of daily life. It was exhilarating experience.
There is an arrangement of an evening show called lightning show conducted in the centeral region ‘lightning show’ conducted in the serene central region from where one can comfortably view all the temples. Flashes of bright colored light are thrown on these temple and a mellifluous magical voice narrates the entire series of events responsible for the rules of those time and their epical sagas associated with them.
On a windy evening in a waxing moon sky. The experience is so magical that it only needs to be personally felt so as to effectively visualize the glory of a past famous for mystic love and exuberance of divinity.
Khajuraho, the city of dates may boast of some special cuisine but trying some fresh dates for sure is an option.
The city beams with some more colours. A- 45-minute drive to the ‘Raneh Falls’ on narrow rodas dotted by date plams is an experience in itself. While the waterfall is quites is sight during- monsoons, the visit is worth during other months too. Multi-colored rock (remnants of volcanic eruptions)are any photographers delight.
